Re-Invented : Re-Use/Recycling/Reduction

An exiting proposal we first designed years ago is rising like a phoenix from the metaphorical ashes. The flagship Recycling Facility is designed as a “Drive-Thru” concept to accept a wide variety of waste-streams from domestic and small scale commercial sources. Now reinvented with a new RHubs Identity, the proposal has some new life…..watch this space!

Annandale House

Currently under development, this infill terrace transforms an existing one bedroom Workers Cottage into a light-filled 3 bed/2 bath family home in Annandale in Sydney’s Inner West. Use of skylights and roof forms to provide natural light and sense of space on a narrow block. Great client with a clear vision for what was required.

Residential Project Update : Site Work Commencing

                        This residential project consists of major upgrades to Living , Kitchen & Bathroom areas of a Federation House in Inner West Sydney. Holistic Space Planning studies resulted in a relocation of the Kitchen towards the garden area and the former kitchen area, within the original house volume, being re-designed as a more intimate TV Lounge. 1930’s Country House Interiors UK

                          The latest images from our 1930’s Country House project in East Sussex, UK.     The formal living room is featured here with a small purpose-designed cocktail bar at one end. To ensure this element did not dominate the room, we lowered the floor level at the rear bar and sourced low feature seats infront to allow similar eye level contact between front and rear. New Paddington Retail Opens

Our project to convert a pair of terrace properties into a boutique retail development is adding a new dynamic to Glenmore Road in Paddington. Opening of New Exhibition Pavilions @ St Marys

Friday 3rd September saw the official opening of our New Exhibition Pavilions at St. Marys to house three historic wooden wagons.         The Bennett Wagons enterprise was one of St Mary’s manufacturing stalwarts in the 19th Century. The wagons were made originally by James Bennett (Snr) in a shed behind the hotel now know as the Park View opposite Victoria Park. Penrith City Council : Wagon Pavilions Nearing Completion

Our project for Penrith City Council is nearing completion on site. Superstructure is complete and the essential built form can now be appreciated. Council and builder John Cooper of Westco have worked hard to maintain the design intent and use of recycled materials. Main timber posts are recycled telegraph poles to relate to the existing Rotary Funded “log cabin” A few more weeks work and 3 historic wooden wagons will be gracing the completed building.

VIVID : Sandstone Re-Imagined

Vivid Sydney transformed our vision of these 2 Sandstone Icons of Sydney’s Sandstone Heritage recently. The art deco original MCA facades were re-imagined as a De Stijl/Lego assemblage and the Gothic Revival Northern Facade of the Quadrangle at Sydney University had stunning overlays of Organic & Aboriginal Motifs
