This project is currently under development and is to house historic wooden horse-drawn Bennett Wagons fabricated locally some 100 years ago. The site is in South Creek Park in St. Marys, a short distance from the original factory site where the wagons were built. It intended that the new pavilion structures work in tandem with an existing rudimentary pole frame structure housing an original wagon on the site. The trio of wagons are intended to become a new iconic landmark for this park, which is a significant location on Great Western Highway approaching St. Marys.
It is intended that the structures exhibit a significant component of materials, which would have gone to landfill and will become a demonstration project for the re-use and recycling of diverted waste materials.
