As holders of the basic copyright to this design, it was developed by us to produce a distinctive aquisition for commercial or residential use. It is intended that the table will be a signature piece, as each table is individually numbered and signed as part of its investment value. The use of the 3 Veneers is intended to enhance the inherent dynamic of the table shape and maximise the contrasting qualities of each timber (American Ash, Cherry and Rock Maple).
Clear glass has been used in the centre to provide the ‘aperture’ from which the table gained its nomenclature. Again, initially conceived for our former offices, the ‘remnant geometry’ of the table can be seen in the 3 motifs of the custom-rug on the reception area floor.
